Senior management of WTG and its affiliates have extensive experience and contacts within the gas gathering, transmission, distribution, processing and E&P industries.  This experience provides a strong foundation for managing and enhancing existing operations, accessing strategic acquisition opportunities and constructing new assets.  WTG’s senior management team has an average of over twenty-five years of experience in the upstream, midstream, and downstream energy industry. 

J. L. Davis is President, CEO, founder and sole owner of WTG and all affiliates.  Mr. Davis holds a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas and is a Registered Professional Chemical Engineer.  Mr. Davis has been involved in the midstream energy business for more than 50 years.  Mr. Davis began his professional career with Magnolia Oil Company in 1949 and in 1968 began to build a large, regionally based midstream enterprise owning various interests in a number of gas plants and gathering systems located in West Texas. 

David L. Davis is Executive Vice President of WTG and affiliated companies and is responsible for the overall management and operations of WTG Exploration, Inc.  David holds two bachelors degrees, one in Chemical Engineering and one in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University where he graduated in 1976.  He began his career with Chevron USA, Inc.  In 1978, David began work for Bass Enterprises Production Co., and in 1981 joined WTG in the oil and gas exploration and production entity, WTG Exploration, Inc. as manager of operations. 

Michael Davis is Vice President of WTG and affiliated companies.  Michael holds a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, and is a Registered Professional Chemical Engineer.  After beginning his career with Amoco Production Company in Houston, Texas, Michael became an employee of WTG in 1984.  He is responsible for the management and operation of all WTG and affiliated mid-stream gathering and processing operations. 

Richard Hatchett is a vice President of WTG and affiliated companies.  Richard holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University, and is a certified public accountant in Texas.  After beginning his career with Furr’s Cafeterias in Lubbock, Texas, Richard became an employee of WTG in 1979.  Richard functions as the Chief Financial Officer of WTG and affiliates, and also manages the extensive downstream pipeline operations of WTG.
