West Texas Gas “WTG”, a portfolio company of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners (SIP), is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the finance, commercial, and operational functions of WTG with duties to include maintaining financial models and supporting the finance team with commercial analysis on evaluations for organic projects, financings, margin improvement efforts, and acquisitions, and assisting with the annual budgeting process and periodic reporting requirements. The position will report to the Director of Corporate Development and work alongside WTG’s finance and commercial teams.

Maintain and update internal financial models using financial and operational information gathered across business segments to measure past performance and forecast future results

Support management with financial analysis on a project-by-project basis for purposes of capital allocation

Qualifications & Abilities

1+ years of finance experience (investment banking, private equity, or energy corporate finance preferred but not required)

Bachelor’s degree (finance, accounting, or economics major preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with financial modeling experience

Strong written and oral communication and organization skills

Attention to detail and quality of work product

Ability to manage multiple workflows, and learn and adapt to new systems and subject matter

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge on some (but not all) of the following required: Waukesha, Caterpillar, Turbines, Ariel, & IR packages.
    • Preferred Experience with ULB Models would be a plus
    • Service and provide preventive and corrective field mechanical service on Centrifugal and Reciprocating compressors. Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles components and equipment to ensure proper alignment, balance, and tolerances.
    • Maintains safe operations by adhering to strict safety procedures and regulations.
    • Field maintenance tasks including equipment troubleshooting, installation/removal, repair
    • Read and interpret mechanical drawings
    • Inspecting equipment by checking bearing clearances, rotor conditions, valves, etc.
    • Perform preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshoot, and repair, and overhaul several types of compressors following manufacturer’s instructions and/or company polices
    • Communicate daily status/production reports
    • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical manuals
    • Promote good housekeeping methods
    • Visual inspection of pumps and motors to detect abnormal conditions
    • Visually Inspection and repair of aerial coolers, Belts, and drives

Job Title: Plant Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and systems at plant facilities which include, but are not limited to: cryogenic plants, hydrocarbon fractionation units, process controls and measurement, UOP Russell facilities, engines and compressors, pumps, pump stations, pressure relief systems, instrument air systems, dehydrators, fuel systems, treating, emergency shutdown systems, reciprocating compressors, gas fired heaters, process pumps, amine treating systems, inlet gas receivers and NGL storage and transfer facilities in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership’s procedures and regulatory requirements
    • Seek to optimize processing through the facility by maintaining proper product specifications
    • Respond to alarms and problems within the plant and takes corrective measures
    • Monitor and control pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to efficiently achieve desired operating results and ensure proper operation of equipment under current process conditions such as Start/Stop/Rate adjustment of equipment
    • Demonstrated understanding in the maintenance and compliance of plant operations in alignment with partnership and environmental standards (PSM-SPCC-TCEQ) including the creation and maintenance of required reporting and readings
    • Maintain and adhere to required training, policies, and procedures
    • Where applicable, the selected candidate will be required to pass all PSM-required operator certifications

WTG Gas Processing, LP is a mid-stream company that gathers and processes natural gas. We own and operate natural gas pipelines, compressor stations, treating facilities, and gas processing plants. We are seeking qualified and motivated I/E Technicians in our Midland/Stanton/Big Spring and Midkiff areas.

The I&E Technician would provide instrumentation, electrical, and automation support and maintenance for our natural gas treating, compression, and processing facilities to insure reliable, safe, and efficient operations.

Job Responsibilities

    • Implements safe work practices ensuring safety for employees, the public, the environment, and the equipment.
    • Provide technical knowledge and decision-making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation and control systems.
    • Responsible for ensuring all safety shutdowns, controls, transmitters, recorders, gas chromatographs, analyzers, and measurement facilities are calibrated and functioning properly in a timely manner.
    • Will be familiar with reciprocating compression facilities, turbo expanders, pumps, amine treaters, glycol dehydration equipment, mole sieve dehy beds, and other equipment associated with the gas processing facility.

    • In-depth knowledge of calibration of various instrumentation such as pressure transmitters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, RTD’s, pressure and level switches, flow transmitters, and control valves.
    • Knowledge of PLC’s, programming (function blocks or ladder logic), and Allen Bradley or Honeywell DCS systems.
    • Knowledge of Compressor panel boards and annunciators.
